Summer in the Golden State is the perfect time for playing on the beach, exploring California state parks and national parks, and enjoying theme parks. When planning your trip, check the tourist board website of your destination and you’ll likely find offers that either shave a little (or a lot) off your hotel rate or bundle in freebies and nice amenities. $50 kids Disneyland admission, Anaheim
Disneyland Resort is making it easier to plan a summer trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. The 3-Day Disneyland Ticket Offer—starting at $149 for children and $249 for adults—averages out to $50 per child per day (ages 3–9), and $83 per adult per day. The rate goes up a little on weekends—$199 for kids and $299 for adults. The tickets will be available on the park’s website starting May 29, and can be redeemed on any three eligible days (and not necessarily in a row) from June 10 through Sept. 26, subject to park reservation availability.
